Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Trade AI is operated by Smart Chain Technology. This policy explains what information the platform collects, how it is used, and the controls you have over it. Trade AI is an information and education platform — it is not a broker, and it is not a regulated financial institution.
1. Your data belongs to you
Any content you store on Trade AI — portfolios, holdings, transactions, watchlists, simulations, uploaded screenshots or documents, notes and API configuration — remains your data. You hold ownership of it at all times.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use your portfolio or trading data to train AI models.
- Staff do not browse your stored records. Access is technically restricted to your own authenticated account through row-level database security. Limited access by authorised engineers occurs only where strictly necessary to resolve a support request or a security incident, and is logged.
- Your data is not used for profiling, credit decisions, or any purpose beyond delivering the features you request.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password hash (or Google account identifier if you use Google sign-in), preferred language, account type (individual or business) and, for business accounts, workspace name, industry and organisation size.
- Content you create: portfolio holdings and transactions, watchlists, simulated trades, uploaded images or files you submit for analysis, and the analysis results generated from them.
- Subscription and payment records: plan, billing period, payment status and receipts. Card details are handled by our payment processor; Trade AI never stores full card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: log records, API request counts, feature usage events, device/browser information and IP address, used for security, quota enforcement, abuse prevention and service reliability.
- Optional integrations: if you link Telegram or install the browser extension, we store the identifiers needed to deliver those messages.
3. Google sign-in (OAuth)
If you choose to sign in with Google, we request only the minimum scopes required to create and authenticate your account:
openid, emailandprofile— to identify you, create your account and display your name.
We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google user data, and we do not read, store or transfer any Google Workspace content. Information obtained through Google APIs is used solely to provide and secure the Trade AI features that are visible to you. It is never transferred to third parties except as required to operate the service (see section 5), and is never used for advertising, resale, or to train generalised AI or machine learning models. Trade AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You may revoke Trade AI's access at any time from your Google account permissions page, or by deleting your Trade AI account.
4. How we use information
- To create and secure your account and authenticate sign-in.
- To deliver the features you request: market data lookups, AI chart and portfolio analysis, signals, news sentiment, simulations and API access.
- To apply plan entitlements, quotas, cooldowns and fair-use limits.
- To process subscription payments and send service or billing notices.
- To detect abuse, fraud and security threats, and to keep audit records.
When you submit a chart image, document or portfolio for AI analysis, the content is transmitted to our AI processing providers solely to generate that result. It is not used by us to train models, and we contract for the same restriction with our providers where their terms allow.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the platform: cloud hosting and database infrastructure, AI model providers, market data vendors, our payment processor, email delivery, and Telegram for optional notifications. They receive only what is necessary for their function and are bound to use it only to provide the service.
Advertising may be served on parts of the platform. Ad networks may set cookies in accordance with their own policies. Your portfolio and account content is never shared with ad networks.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time from within the app. On request to info@smartchain.me we will delete your account and associated content, except records we must retain for accounting, tax, legal or fraud-prevention purposes. Backups and logs age out on a rolling schedule.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with encryption at rest. Access is enforced per-account at the database layer, secrets are stored in a managed secret store, and API keys are stored only as irreversible hashes — a key is shown once, at creation. No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your API keys confidential.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Contact info@smartchain.me and we will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Children
Trade AI is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Business accounts and end users
If you access Trade AI through a business account or a third-party application built on the Trade AI API, that business is the controller of its end-user data and is responsible for its own privacy notices, consents, regulatory obligations and licensing. Trade AI acts only as a technology provider in that relationship.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Questions: info@smartchain.me, Smart Chain Technology, smartchain.consulting.
